Dr. Robert Matiasevich, DDS

I recently had a loose cap on my tooth and called the office of Dr. Matiasevich for help. From the very beginning, I was impressed. The receptionist, Nick, was kind, attentive, and made sure I was accommodated quickly. The entire experience with Dr. Matiasevich and his team was excellent—professional, caring, and efficient. Call this dentist in pain a week ago, searching for a dentist it would take my Medicare or Medi-Cal. Stopped my search because I was told, and I clarified three times, that they take the Medicare. Nothing else was said to me regarding payment. I filled out their paperwork online enjoy at the thought of finally getting my painful TMJ resolved that was caused by another dentist. I confirmed my appointment over text message on a Sunday. I showed up early for my appointment, then to be told that they only take the Medicare for the extremely necessary portion of treatment, not the exam, or any other part of my visit. Are they just that negligent that they cannot be clear with new patients? Or were they hoping I would be so desperate that I would agree to pay money for them to do my dental care? Either way this is one of the reasons people do not trust dentists.

Final try in for dental implants and prosthesis

I had a filling fall out leaving a crack in my tooth during shelter-in-place. Dr. Matiasevich was one of the only dentists open in the area for emergency work on someone who wasn't a preexisting patient. I was able to get an appointment just a couple of days after reaching out. My appointment was efficient but thorough, and my issue was taken care of. Everyone in the office was very nice and very communicative. I wish I lived in this area full-time -- I would definitely make Dr. Matiasevich my go-to dentist. Highly recommend!

Dr. Chai was friendly, knowledgeable, highly skilled and very gentle with my treatment. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful dental team available to us.

I was very pleased with the care by Dr. Mastiasevich Jr. as well as his entire staff. They were all friendly, organized and professional. He explained all the procedures prior to treatment and took the time to answer all of my questions. I am very happy with the work he did.

Dr. Matiasevich after a scheduled checkup suggested, as he had a few years previous, that I replace my old silver filings with newer porcelain material. Just before my appointment, I cracked a molar in half. Dr. Bob is just great at what he does. Fixed both; no problems; no pain; easy recovery! Want it right? Call him.

Anna is very friendly and accommodating to my needs. It was a pleasure to have her as my hygienist for my annual exam and cleaning.

Temp crown came out two days after installed. Next available appt the day I’m disposed to have permanent one put in, partial refund maybe?

I had a molar extracted by another "holistic" dentist and developed a sinus infection afterwards. I saw many differents kinds of doctors about the sinus infection, but Dr. M was the first to discover on x-ray a tooth next to the one that had been extracted that had an infected root tip protruding through the bone and into the sinus. After his treatment the sinus infection resolved just as Dr. M said it would. He's a brilliant doctor, and approaches dentistry holistically w/o calling it that.

High end dentistry

I am very happy with the dental implant experience I had at dr bob’s. The dr seems very competent and the office staff are very professional and friendly always available to help.

Totally paranoid of dentist.....office n staff polite, reassuring, service oriented and efficient.... recently relocated and had dental emergency. Called back promptly, got me in, took care of the problem, n out I went. Now my new dental destination. By the way.... THANK YOU BETH!

Dr. Matiasevich Jr. is wonderful, as well as all of his staff. Friendly, warm, and genuine, to say the least! Love them all and they make going to the dentist the best possible experience considering how going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do. I recommend him and his staff 100%

Dr. Matiasasevich Jr. spends very little time with each of his patients -- as most of the work at his office is done by his large team of dental assistants. Dr. Matiasevich Jr. also spends very little time answering patient questions, as he (primarily) delegates this responsibility to his dental assistants, as well. Dr. Matiasevich comes across as arrogant, self-centered, rude and unprofessional. There are many better dentists in the Santa Cruz area.
