Dr. Robert Schwan, DMD

I can not say enough about how much I appreciate Dr. Schwan for the dental work he did for me. I am not thrilled about going to a dentist and it was reflected in the amount of work I needed but the Dr. made me feel at ease and was non judgmental about my neglect. He and his staff are totally professional and the work he preformed on me was EXCELLANT . I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING HIS SERVICES. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOC, GOD BLESS.

The staff was very nice, especially Jen at the front desk. That is why i’m giving the rating a 3 instead of 1. Dr. Schwan was nice at first too, but seemed irritable when I had questions about my teeth after the cleaning was finished. It was almost like he felt like he was too good to receive any type of feedback that wasn’t positive. When I tried asking questions I was cut off multiple times and I was told that if I did not believe what he was saying that I needed to have a second opinion. When I never said I didn’t believe him. A thorough explanation about what I was asking about would have been fine. I’ve never experienced this from any other dentist office that I have been to. My experience leaving this office made me feel like I did not want to return or recommend to any of my family members or friends. This was a waste and I could have used my visit elsewhere.The attitude that I experienced from Dr. Schwan towards the end of my visit was very off putting and quite upsetting.

I have been a patient for years and have always been satisfied. Also, the office staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I went to Dr. Schwan and he told me that I needed to replace 4 silver fillings because they were "cracked" and he wanted to replace them with the resin ones. I had no problems with my teeth until he messed with them. I had 3 of them done and have had problems with one ever since. I will be needing a root canal because of it. When I found a new dentist he told me that I did NOT have to have the 4th one replaced, it was fine. It has been several years since then and it is still fine.
