Dr. Robert Tahani, DMD

My first and last visit was today. I made it very clear that I am on Worker's Comp and that has caused financial stress. I went in for my initial visit. A woman came in, took x-rays and started measuring my gums. She began scraping my teeth. I was not asked if I wanted a cleaning of any kind today. I was booked for an initial visit only. I was told that I owed them 270 dollars for work I didn't even get to make a decision on. I was not told in advance what the charges would be. I was not asked if I wanted a cleaning today. I got HALF of my teeth cleaned for over 270 dollars and they said Delta Dental is actually paying half of it. Think about that...this means they charge a ridiculous amount just for a cleaning. I was told that to get the other half of my teeth cleaned it would be another 140 dollars. Totally underhanded, dishonest office.

I love this dentist! He is gentle and knowledgeable. I have recommended him to friends and family.

I suffered significant PAIN after a cleaning in Dr. Robert Tahani?s office late one week this January and the PAIN did not subside over the weekend, in fact it became progressively worse. I contacted Dr. Tahani?s office early Monday morning. But Dr. Tahani was away and had not arranged for another dentist to act as backup in case of emergencies. Consequently, he wouldn?t see me until later that day and my PAIN, by then quite severe, was not relieved until Monday night with prescription medica

I love this office, this dentist is the most gentle in all of Los Angeles. The office is friendly, neat, clean, and bright. The office is modern and the equipment is new. I am so pleased with this dentist and his staff. I will be a long time patient to come! I refer all my friends and family to this office.
