Dr. Robert Thousand, DDS

I just read some recent reviews about Dr. Thousand and he was called- horrible, a joke, money hungry and was accused of treating his stuff horrible! This is NOT true! First of all- this is not a review but a direct character assassination ! NOBODY has a right to write a review like that and speak about well respected highly educated dentist like Dr. Thousand and NOBODY has a right to write a so called review about him because he is a dentist and great one! I have been going to his office for over a year and I 100% satisfaction and I would recommend anyone to him. He is great dentist, great person who is very knowledgeable professional and honest. I love his office and staff and have zero issues with him!!

All he's about is money. He treats the ethnic members of his staff with such disrespect and treats them like they are beneath him. His father was a great dentist who treated everyone with kindness and respect. This man is a joke!

I had a root canal done today by Dr Thousand and he was great. He explained everything to me and I knew I was in good hands.. His assistant was just wonderful and was so kind to me the whole time. I had a very positive experience!!

I have had a few root canals and as root canals go--this was the best. His staff was great and his assistant was very reassuring. Dr. Thousand explained everything and was very understanding of my anxiety.

He was professional, polite, gentle as told, monotone. pushes patients to have this very expensive X-ray that is not covered by anyone's insurance. It's some new 3D X-ray.. Dentists have been practicing for many years without it, don't know why he cannot. Seemed to be a money racket. Staff told me they would submit my claim to insurance for me as a courtesy (he was out of network for me) never did. Don't have much faith in those who seem to put money a priority in their practice. Won't return.

We are already recommending Dr. Thousand to acquaintances. We are visiting from out of state and found ourselves with a horrible tooth problem Dr Thousand's office went far and above to assist us in giving options, getting proper treatment, working with our schedule making sure all work is complete before we must go back to KY. Dr Thousand is approachable and very thorough and very reasonably priced. His office staff should be commended as well for their compassion and professionalism.

IDr Thousand was very gentle and precise. I had not pain afterward and that's unusual for me with root canals. I highly recommend him.
