Dr. Rogelia Maniego, DDS

I went there for an emergency for tooth ache. I could tell it was an abscess. Dr Maniego took 8 X-rays!!!! 5 on the left side and after 3 on the right side, I told her I didn't want any anymore. I said that it was not safe. She told me it was not more dangerous than the sun and actually there was no radioactivity in the X-ray. Then she told me that my crown was broken and that I had gum disease. She said that she could clean the infection or do a deep cleaning or even remove the tooth. She gave me the price for each option and asked me to choose....By then, I wanted to leave. So I asked that she prescribed antibiotics. The whole event took 2 hours!!! She charged me $200. A few weeks later, I went back to ask for a receipt. The office printed me the receipt for $1,400 and showed root canal. My balance was $1,200. The dentist in the office said that Dr Maniego doesn't do root canal so something was wrong. She finally gave me the right receipt. What a nightmare!
