I had a dental crown placed by Ross Ruder at Seacrest Dental and was extremely dissatisfied. The crown has a visible gap, exposing my root-canaled, weakened tooth to bacteria and potential decay. I can feel the edge with my fingernail, and my floss catches between teeth. The chewing surface is flat and uncomfortable, and the crown’s color does not match my adjacent teeth. I was never given a choice regarding margin placement, shape, or color. Despite multiple follow-ups, the dentist refused to fix these issues and replace the crown.Additionally, the clinic overcharged me and failed to refund my overpayment until I demanded a billing breakdown. I could have lost $200 if I hadn’t checked. Always verify your charges with insurance—this clinic may try to overcharge you. I would not recommend this clinic due to poor work, lack of accountability, and questionable billing practices.
