Dr. Sameet Koppikar, DDS

Being an older person, I had some very bad issues in my young years, keeping me from dentists. Than again tried a couple more over the years, one due to fear a dentist put me to sleep to work on my teeth. This time I needed a cleaning prior to knee surgery. First time ever the team here walked me through the cleaning. They were truly a blessing. Now considering dentures after both knees done. First time even considering.

Dr. Koppikar was polite. His skill as a dentist was not an issue but his fees for even minor services was predatory. The assistants were polite and competent. Office manager was a weasel who seemed to be on a mission to shake down uninformed patients. I compared Koppikar's estimate with national dentistry guidelines which was many times above what dentists charge for typical work. I asked the manager if insurance would help with the estimate, which could pay for a luxury car. She told me insurance wouldn't be any help and it was a big lie. They decided I was a dummy who could be scammed. I was immediately looking for another dentist, for someone who is not out to rob patients. Few days later, I got a call from the same weasel office manager, in her most insincere phone manner told me they reviewed the numbers they quoted and assured me they can work out better numbers. I thought I was listening to a slimy used car sales-person. My advice, stay clear and find another dentist.

Dr. Koppikar is such a great dentist with an exceptional bedside manner. I was so surprised to get a follow up call the next day from him checking up on me. I chose him as my dentist as he uses holistic materials for fillings and crowns. To my surprise, not many dentist know that although they are getting away from metal/ mercury fillings, they don't use BPA Free materials! Dr. Koppikar knew exactly what I was talking about and assured me his materials are BPA Free! The office staff are really nice and very patient with me when I need billing clarification, etc,etc.

I have been going to Biltmore Dental Center since 2010. Best decision I have ever made. My teeth were in bad shape and I needed them wedding ready. Dr. Koppikar and his amazing staff were and are amazing! I was so proud of my smile on my wedding day. He is patient and kind, never recommending anything unnecessary. His dental hygienists and office admins are very sweet and incredibly helpful!

I've been a patient of Dr Koppikar for years. Seriously the best Doctor, not just Denist I ever gone to. His front office staff and dental team are always so nice and Dr Koppikar is always caring, thoughtful and ready to make my experience the best. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad I found this place!! To say I’m a reluctant patient is an understatement. I went in for my initial appointment a couple of months ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the compassion, overall courtesy and commitment to make me feel comfortable. I’ve had two subsequent appointments and each time I have been so impressed with every staff member I’ve encountered. If you’re hesitant about seeing the dentist I would highly recommend this office.

Great experience with the whole team at Biltmore Dental Center. My office is just up 32nd Street from their office and I went there for convenience after conducting a Google search for dentists. I had 4 very old crowns replaced and had a comfortable experience with everyone involved in my care. Dr. Koppikar is great. I appreciate his calm demeanor - something that is greatly appreciate when someone is drilling in my mouth!

Dr. Kopikar does not check patient’s bite alignment after prescribing dental equipment. When asked to check the alignment of my occlusal guard, he never made time. Instead, he passed this responsibility to a hygienist who simply asked, “does it feel okay?” I was expecting him to use carbon paper to check the alignment (other dentists have done in the past). I’m now experiencing an issue with bone spurs becoming larger than before. This office is not recommended for anything other than a cleaning

Excellent dentist. I have recommended Dr. Koppikar at Biltmore dental center to many friends and especially those with dental anxiety. He is exceptionally skilled and gentle on teeth. The hygienists and front office staff are also excellent, caring and professional. I have never felt pressured to get unnecessary procedures. You can feel confident in choosing this office for your dental needs.
