I’ve always hated the dentist but have forced myself to go so I don’t have issues when I’m older. Recently I switched to VA Smiles for a dentist that was closer to home/work. I’ve been there twice now, once for an initial assessment and a second time for a cleaning and to have a cavity filled. It was such a lovely experience - and yes, I’m still talking about going to the dentist. Both visits have not only the best dental experiences I’ve ever had, but also the very best overall health care visits I’ve ever had. The hygienist who did my cleaning was awesome. She did a thorough job without tearing my mouth up and the best part was the laid back real life convo we had. I then was with Dr. Ahmadiyar & Holly for the cavity filling. They were hilarious and super knowledgeable and worked together awesome as a team. I know this is a king review but you don’t find great bedside manner much these days so I want people to know where they can find it.

My initial visit went very well. Dr A explained what we will do and as soon as my records show up from previous dental provider he will be able to order what he needs to do the procedure.

I was seen in a timely manner, each person was professional and friendly. The dentist thoroughly explained what I needed . I was a new patient and they put me ease.
