Dr . Sachs has been taking care of my child's dental issues since he was 3. Our son has special needs and extreme sensory and behavior problems. But somehow Dr. Sachs was able to keep him calm, and us too through several surgeries and his continued care. We are so thankful to have such a good hearted, professional dentist that is so patient and kind with children. He always takes his time, explains everything, makes sure you understand. I drive quite aways to see him because of his ability to work so well with my child. I love my kids more than anything and I only want the best for them and that's why I continue to take my son to Dr. Sachs and he's almost 9 years old now. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. Thankyou Dr. SACHS for caring so much for others!!

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. I decided to go to another practice based on these! Yes, he will not offer to do treatment in the office. He only offered to have surgery done for my 5 year old. My 5 year old who is so patient and quiet and did a great job through a terrible xray tech. The xray tech kept messing up the photos so she had to do more than was neceasars making it uncomfortable for my daughter! For a pediatric dental office they are NOT great with kids at all. One very dirty childrens play area and a tiny fold up table area for coloring. The seats were ripped and poky! He seemed knowledgeable of what needed to be done but does not discuss various options. I didn't feel like I had a choice but to go with whatever recommendation he gave. We decided to go somewhere else after a few visits.

He wanted to sedate my 3 year old for xrays before he even met him! He said most 3 year old's don't sit still. I declined to pay for sedation and he sat still for xrays. He also walked out in the middle of performing surgery on my 5 year old leaving the tooth jagged and sharp. He said this is too stressful and handed us a referral. Note my child was sitting still, not making it hard for him to perform his job.

Accused me of wanting to traumatize my child because I wanted him to do some dental work in the office before we tried sedation. If I thought my son couldn’t tolerate it I wouldn’t have suggested it. I’d like to think I know my 9 year old better than someone who saw him for 5 minutes. You shouldn’t be a pediatric dentist if you want to sedate every child that doesn’t sit perfectly still....which btw my son did sit perfectly still during his cleaning and exam.
