Over aggressive palate expander treatment
Our 8 year old granddaughter was referred by her dentist to Dr Shah for adjusting her upper jaw to better match her lower jaw. Dr Shah's office installed a palate expander on her upper jaw. After @ 6 months, her regular dentist became alarmed and recommended we get a second opinion. Another respected DO confirmed that her upper Jaw was widened too far. Her upper molars were completely over lapping her lower teeth. She now needs extensive remedial work on her lower jaw to achieve a proper match. Very expensive and painful for our granddaughter!
