I have had a fear of dentists my entire life .... no more, thanks to Dr. Lykins. She treated me for a dental emergency and she and her entire staff truly treated me as if I were family. She was both professional and caring, answering all my questions, explaining my options and allaying my fears. She is amazing!

I called on a Monday with a chipped tooth and was able to get into a cancellation spot on Tuesday. My chipped tooth was repaired within minutes. Very pleased with the process and with the result. I am happy that Dr. Lykins stays up-to-date and equipped for the best procedures in dentistry.

I’ve been using this practice for approximately 8 years. Tammy in the front office provides top notch customer service. Dr. Lykins is knowledgeable and very personable. Jenn, my hygienist, is extremely thorough, gentle as possible considering I have a history of periodontal disease, and an absolutely sweet spirit. Because of a location change several years ago I drive from Woodstock to Ellijay just to use this practice! Yes, I could go somewhere else that’s closer for me, but when you’ve got the best they’re worth the drive time. I have no hesitations with recommending Lykins Family Dentistry.

I've been a patient of Lykins Family Denistry for 6 years, I'm so lucky that a neighbor at the time referred me there. The office is run professionally and I always feel treated like family. My Hygienist is awesome and Dr. Lykins is fun and knows what she's doing. I just met her new associate and liked her as well. I'm not certain you can find a better Dental Practice anywhere.

Dr. Lykins grew up in the North Georgia mountains of Clayton, Ga. She attended and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Biology and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical College of Georgia.
