Dr. Steven Calhoun, DMD

I was highly skeptical seeing this office advertise their dentists as "pain-free" but I can honestly say my experience with Dr. Calhoun was just that. I hate, and I mean HATE, going to the dentist. Even if it isn't painful, it is always at least uncomfortable. But even a few fillings later, I can truly say that I did not feel any pain. Dr. Calhoun gives me the impression that he genuinely enjoys his job and helping people. He is young, but you can tell he knows what he is doing - I've had dentists who have probably worked for 40 years leave me in pain with poor results. I will definitely be going back. Front desk is fast and efficient, too.

I’m so glad we chose Dr. Calhoun to do my mom’s implants. After years of her feeling embarrassed about her dentures, she looks and feels amazing now. She can eat whatever she wants. And just to see the way her confidence shines warms my heart. She’s smiling more now than she has in 15 years. He was so kind and gentle with her throughout the whole process too. Always followed up and made sure she was comfortable after procedures. She speaks glowingly of him and the office. Worth every penny and then some.

I had developed severe dental anxiety after going through numerous painful procedures throughout my life. Dr. Calhoun has a magic touch, because I never feel ANY pain. He is so gentle. Super smart and knows his stuff. He’s helped my health in ways even beyond my teeth! Very nice to talk to and personable. He remembers my family and asks about them. Some docs seem to rush you out the door, but he never makes you feel like you’re wasting his time. I’ll never go anywhere else.

I recently had the pleasure of undergoing dental implants with Dr. Calhoun, and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish. He was incredibly kind and compassionate and really made me feel at ease, despite the fact that I had been suffering from pain, was embarrassed about my teeth, and was really nervous about the implant process. At every visit, he took the time to answer all my questions and explained what would be happening next. He never made me feel silly for feeling anxious, and I always felt like his only patient of the day. I am used to feeling rushed at the doctor, but he took his time and even followed up with me after hours on the phone when I had questions. I am so grateful to Dr. C for giving me a new smile. He is meticulous and artistic about the look of your teeth. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate and kind dentist, especially if you're looking to invest in dental implants. Thank you, Dr. C! I recommend him 110%!

I went in after a full year of neglecting my teeth. I explained to Dr. Calhoun that my mom died and I was stuck in a depression and now needed them fixed. He scolded me for not brushing and caring for them. I begged for implants and HD refused me because he said my hygiene was bad and it's too much work. He refused to hear me when I said I wouldn't be wearing dentures. I ended up going to dr. Mohamad zaman in lake mary he is a special man. I paid cash 45 k and got my smile back. Shame on debary dentist for allowing dr.calhoun to talk to me that way and taking no action. My husband was a client too now he's going to my new dentist.

My experience with Dr. Calhoun was stellar. I've never written a review for a doctor but Dr. Calhoun is deserving. I have never met a kinder or more caring doctor, as someone who is generally terrified of going to the dentist. He first made easy small talk with me to soothe my nerves. He then made sure to walk me through each process, telling me exactly what was going to happen and never making me feel bad for being so anxious. I really appreciated that he took the time to do that. He was very patient and made me feel like I was his only patient of the day, answering every question. He has a gentle touch as well when he is working in your mouth. I am used to leaving the dentist with a sore jaw, but he somehow was able to keep me comfortable despite a long procedure. Through our next visits, he has taken away pain I've had for years (despite me seeing other dentists prior). He shows genuine care which is so rare these days and I am so grateful I found him. I no longer fear dental work.

Patient and caring doctor, highly recommend ??

I am very nervous when it comes to dental work and I sadly need a lot of it! Dr.Calhoun was very calming and gave me multiple options for treatment that I could do. He is a young doctor but seems very knowledgeable I will definitely be scheduling with him for my much needed dental work.

Today was my first visit with Dr.Calhoun I had a cleaning and he came in to do the exam. He was very thorough during my exam explaining what I needed to have done and why, I was even able to stay and have some of my work done the same day! The staff is also very friendly and the remodeled Debary office looks very nice and clean! ????

Dr. Steven Calhoun is the new dentist at the Greenberg East Colonial Drive office and he is just amazing! I've had a tremendous amount of dental work done over the years and I have to say he is the best that has ever treated me. He is very knowledgeable and takes tremendous care in your treatment. Recently, I've had issues with old crowns and he has worked very hard to help make my smile beautiful. I've had numerous compliments on my smile and I've never been prouder of my teeth. If you have questions, he also takes the time to answer all of your questions. Dr. Calhoun is young and I hope to be a patient of his for a very long time. Two of his dental staff that have closely worked with me, Mia and Eddie, are so kind and have made me feel cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Calhoun! Go see him! FYI: There are closer Greenberg Dental offices to where I live and I make the longer drive just to go see him. He's worth the longer drive.
