Stay away. This is a terrible dentist.
I had a root canal that was so bad that i had to go to another dentist to have it fixed. When I spoke to him about it he just laughed. He wouldnt fix it without me paying for the procedure again. This guy is a terrible dentist.

I feel bad for having to write this review. However, I felt obligated to help others. I needed a crown and made the mistake of choosing Dr. Gilson. After allowing him to put the crown he failed to grind the tooth properly which created an off bite. When I bit down this forced the tooth root into my jaw tearing the tissue creating an infection causing me to have the tooth removed. I had to file a complaint with the FL Dept of Health and urge you to the do the same.

Dr. Gilson is argumentative and unprofessional. I simply explained to him that I was unable to afford a suggested procedure, and uncomfortable opening a line of credit. I stated that I was saving for the procedure. He rushed me out. He was emotional. He proceeded to loudly announce to the three staff members up front that I couldn’t afford my root canal, that I wouldn’t open a Care Credit, etc. Zero discretion or consideration for my feelings or embarrassment. I would not recommend

I found Dr Gilson to be extremely gentle. He honest to a fault but he holds nothing back when it comes to what a patient needs. He truly cares. His staff is amazing. The young lady Michelle at the front desk can handle anything you need from helping you with finances to just answering questions. I would definitely advise seeing Dr Gilson for any treatment.

Dr Gilson was very unprofessional, I have never seen a Dr. argue with a patient. I scheduled an appointment and had to wait 2 1/2 hours and he still did not see me. when I voiced my concerns he argued with me and told his staff to tell me to get out. I would no recommend this dentist to anyone. the best part of my visit was the staff they were friendly and apologetic.
