Dr. Steven Parker, DDS

I had a deeply upsetting experience with Dr. Parker that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this office was not welcoming to those with Medicaid insurance. Dr. Parker openly made me feel inadequate because of my insurance coverage, treating me as if I were less deserving of quality care. To make matters worse, he argued my political views during the consultation, which made me incredibly uncomfortable. I went to them in extreme pain, hoping for relief, but Dr. Parker refused to help, citing a 36- month policy limit on my insurance. Despite knowing how much pain I was in, he showed no compassion or willingness to assist me. Adding to the frustration is the fact that Dr. Parker is the only dentist in this area that accepts this specific Medicaid insurance. It feels like he uses this to his advantage to be rude and dismissive toward patients who have no other options. Avoid this practice at all costs if you want to be treated with dignity and respect.

No problems with Dr. Parker and his staff. They were very friendly and professional. Great dental care. Had some teeth worked on and partial dentures made/fitted. Quick and easy. They said they would work with financial side.

I wouldn't even give them one star. They wouldn't even clean my teeth. A waste of time and my insurance money. I wouldn't take my dog there even. I asked a lot of good questions, but they never took the time to explain anything. His bedside manner was raw, and they rushed me out of the office. Even though they took my insurance, they didn't really do anything but exrays, which took most of my time. Poor service, and I won't be going back.

First dentist I've been to that I actually feel like they care about my teeth more than money.

Great with my ten-year-old son, but not good with three-year-old daughter. Very condescending and not supportive at all with her.
