Big waste of money and time, rushed in and rushed out, told nothing they could do, I paid close to $200 at end of appointment, insurance paid their part and I get threatened to be sent to collections for a difference of $18. Thanks for the customer service.

From the front desk to the chair I had top notch care…the receptionists couldn’t have been nicer and the assistant and Dr. Widman were so professional and pleasant! At my next visit I had another endodontist who was filling in for Dr. Widman, Dr. Severin and she was so wonderful! She was very thorough in explaining the procedure and highly skilled at performing the root canal. I really loved her kind and fun personality. I just can’t praise this office enough…I’m so impressed! Brenda Whitney

Dr. Widman came highly recommended and I felt confident I would have a high quality root canal that was admittedly, by the referring dentist, a difficult one. The proceedure went efficiently until he allowed some disinfectant to migrate past the rubber dam and into my mouth. After he quickly finished the filling, while I was choking on the chemical, I asked him if I could spit it out. His solution to the problem was to spray water into my mouth and tell me to swallow. His later apology was,"we try not to let that happen". The burning in my stomach lasted until late afternoon and the filling dislodged within 6 months and had to be replaced. I was in Mexico, for 6 months, at the time and was faced with a situation that's the stuff of bad dreams. I had the filling replaced there for $35 USD, thinking you get what you pay for. So the entire debacle cost a mear $1135. Time will tell whose work excel's.

I was referred to doctor widman for a root canal. At the consult he took x-rays then did a variety of painful tests only to announce that I was not in enough pain for him to treat. I was told to call back if anything changes, and that otherwise I should just put up with the pain. I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes and he saw me for maybe 10. I noted in my chart that I have severe anxiety around dental procedures and he did not ask about this even though I watched him read my chart. Total lack of bedside manner, to put it politely. Will not be going back.

I had Dr. Widman twice. The first time, he did a root canal on me, months later, I lost the tooth because he did not clean out all the canals. He left one canal with infection and pulp. The second time I had Dr. Widman, (went again because of insurance) he left a sharp edge which kept cutting me) and when I FINALLY got a call back from him, he told me too bad, he was going on a trip and would not meet me at the office to fix it. I told him how bad it was cutting me, but he would not help.

I am a deaf man in need of a root canal. I requested an ASL interpreter (sign language). An employee from the Hearing Speech and Deaf Center called Dr. Widman to politely explain the ADA laws and that he would be fully refunded for the interpreters fee with a full tax credit at the end of the year. He remained adamant that he would not provide an interpreter. He swore and hung up on the employee for HSDC. I was in pain and denied help by Dr. Widman. He is an caring man

Dr. Widman was gentle and efficient! Best dental appointment I've had!

I have high dental anxiety which he was informed of prior but would not give me nitrous during the procedure. When I asked him afterwards why he accepted me as a patient with anxiety he stated "we all get anxiety and you need to learn how to deal with it". Xanax and nitrous has always been how I've coped at the dentist for 30+ years to avoid the aches/pains of tension. Dr. Widman may be a good dentist - but certainly lacks care and compassion.

Excellent endodontist! He is a true professional and takes great care of you! I have seen him twice, once for a root canal and recently for work on a tooth under the gum. I won't go anywhere else now. And he has nitrous oxide for the nervous, and/or will prescribe valium to get you throuh the procedure. I recommend him to everyone.
