The front receptionist was rude when I made my appointment like I was an inconvenience to her by calling. I came in for a cleaning. All they were concerned with was trying to sell me things I didn't need. After my cleaning, I needed a follow up appointment for a filling. Again, the receptionist was rude. After the filling was complete I came back to fix a high spot. I was told by Dr. Gutschow to 'forget who we are'. When I went for a second opinion on my painful tooth, I find out she was fixing the WRONG TOOTH! In all my years of dental care I have never been treated so badly.

Professional service. No problems. Gentle care. I was able to easily schedule appointments and did not have to wait when I got there. Insurance billing was smooth.

The two women at the front desk were extremely unprofessional and rude from the moment we walked in until we left. They were even more rude over the phone when I called about discrepancies with my bill. Which brings me to my next point. They are deceiving with their billing and practices. My bill changed dramatically from the bill they went over with me in the office. They stated it was due to me missing an appointment. I stated I left a voicemail canceling that appointment which they then told me they have no record of. The front desk lady laughed at me over the phone and told me she would 'try' to email the info (which I did not receive). I also told her even if that was the case that did not match up with the original no-show fee notice I signed. She then told me the no-show fee goes up depending on who is doing work. This wasn't in signed paperwork. They also tried to sneak other charges in that I didn't approve like 'saliva sampling' when I specifically said no to this.

Sloppy billing. They don’t know how to estimate insurance and expect you to pay for their mistakes. Sent me to collections and refused to work with me. Very money driven and dishonest!

Does not care at all about the patient's rights and any out of pocket due to their lack of disclosure. They are only after your money and don't care.

Made the worst dentures known to man. Said she would adjust irritating spots, but then suggested I just do it myself with a nail file. The dentures did not last five years before they started showing wear, chipping (tops of teeth crumbling off) and finally pieces falling out. Had a lengthly wait in the dental hygienists chair waiting to see dentist when dental cleaning was finished. Hygienist started taking even more individual isolated x-rays, removed every remaining filling I had in her effort to remove “ plaque,” and even preformed a cancer biopsy. Dr Gerheauser purchased the practice from a dentist who elected to teach full time and she is not the same caliber of dentist as he was. The office performs a panoramic X-ray every six months. I thought panoramic X-rays were limited to once a year max. Your dental insurance will not cover a teeth cleaning. You will be paying out of pocket. You will be “asked” to pay your balance before you leave. Lots of promises zero follow up.
