Dr. Thomas Nelson, DDS

Dr. Tom Nelson and his staff are wonderful. They saved me lots of $$$$. I used their services for several years. I signed up for HMO dental insurance through Medicare. After going to another dentist, I soon realized that many (not all) HMO dentists tack on a lot of "extra" procedures that are not needed. I went back to Dr. Nelson after I was given an estimate of $2,900 for deep cleaning, three crown replacements, laser gum treatment and other stuff from another dentist. Dr. Nelson looked at the estimate and told me I did not need all of this. All I needed was a regular cleaning and one crown replacement, which was LESS THAN ONE THIRD the cost of what I was quoted by Dr. Nameless. Moral of this story; ALWAYS GET SECOND OPINION and GO TO DR. TOM NELSON! I highly recommend him!!! HMO dental insurance is not for everyone. I will be canceling mine and staying with Dr. Nelson DDS.

Dr. Dean Stewart was one the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is gentle, compassionate and honest. This dental office doesn’t scam you with things you don’t need. Dr. Thomas Nelson took over this dental practice and he is just as wonderful and honest. Highly recommend this dentist. Josie at the front desk is super nice. Great dental office!

I’ve gone to Dr. Nelson since he took over the practice from Dr. Stewart. He is very gentle and makes sure that you are comfortable. He answers any questions you have. I like him very much. I also like Shannon. She is my dental hygienist. While she’s cleaning your teeth, she tells you all of the latest information about caring for your teeth, so while you’re having your teeth cleaned, you’re actually learning something. Love that!
