Dr. Timothy Betita, DDS

Dr. Betita is an amazing surgeon with professional knowledge, technical skills, and a bedside manner that sets him apart from his peers. As a healthcare administrator for over 20 years, I know that physicians of his caliber are few and far between. He is humble, kind, respectful and appreciative of his team, and makes sure his patients understand the treatment options. I believe Dr. Betita is definitely a top tier oral surgeon and give him my highest recommendation!

The office was clean and inviting. The staff was really friendly. Dr. Betita was caring and took the time to explain to me how their system of dental implants worked - he showed me their technology as well as explaining the procedure. I couldn't have been more impressed. I would recommend him to anybody who has dental related problems.

I was examined by Dr. Betita due to 5 suspicious (possibly cancerous) spots in my mouth found by my dentist. He looked in my mouth while I sat on a couch in a separate waiting room. He did not examine me in his chair, did not use any instruments, took no pictures of the lesions & did not wear magnifying goggles. His staff presented me with his recommended treatment plan ($2,700+) to biopsy the lesions using general anesthesia, and I paid over $400 for this inadequate exam. I did not learn until after the exam that he does not accept Medicare. I found another oral surgeon who examined me for almost an hour in the chair, wearing magnifying goggles and using dental instruments, and taking multiple pictures of each lesion. A few weeks later all lesions were biopsied & removed without general anesthesia, sent to pathology & determined that none were pre-cancerous. Medicare covered a portion of the expenses. As a PhD health scientist with almost 50 years' experience, I cannot recommend him.
