Dr. Tristan Taylor, DDS

Dr. Taylor is always very personable and informative. He lets you know options for correcting any dental issues, without pressuring you to do the most expensive option. He has also surrounded himself with an excellent staff, from the hygienists to the front desk. Everyone is very friendly and so nice to work with. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor and his dental office staff.

Mu husband and I moved from Wisconsin to Wyoming 4 years ago and Dr. Taylor has been our dentist since then. He clearly explained the work that needed to be done over the next few years and created a plan for us. One implant, five crowns, and several replaced fillings later, we have accomplished our goals! I definitely understand why he is a patient favorite. He clearly explains everything, gives you options, doesn't pressure you, is very skilled, uses up-to-date techniques, and is a fun guy! His staff is pleasant, skilled, and professional. The front office staff works with our insurance to make sure we maximize our benefits. We love Mountain River Dental and highly recommend Dr. Taylor!

Each appointment I have had has exceeded my expectation with Dr Taylor and his team. All my questions are answer patiently, service is terrific, and they go the extra mile to make sure I am treated exceptionally well. Kudos to Dr Taylor and his staff. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Taylor is wonderful! He takes the time to explain everything in detail so you can completely understand the pros and cons of any procedures. The entire staff is excellent from the hygienist to the receptionist. I highly recommend this dental office!

I had a crown fall off and went in to hopefully reset it. Turned out not to be as simple as that due to the length of time the crown had been loose before popping off. Dr Taylor had to do more work than I was hoping for especially since I’m not an easy dental patient. He was patient with me and would stop as often as necessary to make me comfortable. I ended up with a new perfectly fitting crown. I’ve been seeing Dr Taylor for 10 years and highly recommend him. His entire staff are friendly and easy to work with.

This is now the 6th time I have received service from Mountain River Dental, and I still rate them 5 Stars - Excellent crew!. I was treated very professionally and a warm interpersonal interaction from everyone on the staff. The service was excellent and everything ran like clockwork. I have received an implant. I have received 2 new crowns. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I highly recommend Mountain River Dental.

From Ruthie greeting me as I come in and assisting me with payments and scheduling to Abby and Gayle getting me situated with scheduling customized cleaning schedules and getting me prepped for when I need more extensive care. Dr. Taylor tops off this crew with a kind and informative approach to my dental issues and care. He presents me with my options and in a true collaborative fashion we are able to decide what is the best treatment for my physical and financial needs. Everyone is friendly and sympathetic... regardless of what I am having done I am at ease in knowing I will get the best care.

After an Xray, he immediately set to work to remove an large old amalgam filling. An hour and a half later, I had a perfectly sized and colored porcelain crown. No pain, no additional visits, and best of all, the bill was mostly covered by insurance.

I had a dental emergency at my summer residence, and Dr Taylor took me in immediately as a new patient. He gave me an exam and his professional opinion and had to refer me to a root canal specialist. Everyone in the office was so nice. I will not hesitate to go back to see him at any point nor will any member of my family. Thanks to all for helping me when I really needed it.

I lost an old crown and there wasn’t enough tooth left to get a new one. So Dr Taylor sealed where it broke off, and didn’t charge me anything for doing that!

This was my first visit. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I’m looking for a conservative dentist and believe I have found that in Dr. Taylor. He patiently explained options to me. He didn’t have that “I’m the doctor and I know better” attitude. Rachel, the hygienist was thorough but gentle.

I've spent a lot of time in dental chairs with a lot of dentists over the years. I'd rank Dr. Taylor as the best of all of them. Professional, friendly, painless, and with an exceptional staff. Better than 5 stars for certain.
