Dr. Waitus Kirkland, DMD

My family has been a part of Charleston Family Dentisty’s patient family for decades and I am forever grateful to have found a dental practice where EVERYONE is kind, professional and highly skilled. While here, I always know I am seen and loved as well as professionally cared for. I’m here right now, in fact. I broke a tooth while flossing this morning and Guerry Kirkland, Wife and Office Miracle Worker, took my call about 8:30 am; got me in at 9:30 and I should be out with a crown-ready tooth by 10:30! Dr. Kirkland and staff (Guerry, Corey, Deni and Dawn) have kept me smiling for years and I will be with them as long as I’m around.

Dr. Kirkland is awesome! I started going to him when I lived in Charleston. Since then, I have moved two hours away to Columbia, and my husband and I drive that far to keep him as our dentist! He values honesty over money. For example, I asked him to whiten my teeth, and he told me that they did not need whitening. He could have easily charged hundreds of dollars for this service. Also, his prices are inexpensive compared to my previous dentist. As well, the entire office staff is welcoming!

Listens to my concerns and provides options for the solution. Considerate of costs of procedures. Does not push you to most expensive option. Never felt I was rushed.
