Dr. Wallace Lail, DDS

Got home from Vietnam and was discharged. 1971. A friend from work recommended Dr. Lail. My teeth were in pretty bad shape. $1200. That was a lot of money in 1971. Married, with a young son, just started a new job. The work had to be done. I didn't know how I was going to pay for it. Doc said, 'Didn't you just get out of the service? Yes, I said. He said the VA will fix all of this at no charge to you for up to 1 year from discharge. The visit to Doc was no charge and off to the to the VA I went. Doc was right. I asked the VA if I could have my dentist do the work. A mountain of paper work later it was approved. Doctor lail did not have to tell me about that benefit I had coming. But he did. For over 50 years he was my dentist and became my friend.
