Nightmare. He is a lier

My entire family has been telling me to switch dentist offices after their multiple terrible experiences. I went in for a SMALL cavity which I had been told I had since they discovered it. I waited about a month&a half for it to get filled because that was the next available time.The staff is usually very friendly & I don’t typically have any issues.Dr. Cortney has no “customer service” skills whatsoever. She just walks in and gets right to work.After flinching multiple times, she gave me about 20-30 shots; everywhere but my tooth. Around the 15th shot, I told her I didn’t think I needed anymore, but as she reached into my mouth to put more novocain in she said “it’s a really big cavity, we have a lot more to go.” Eventually I told her I’d just take the pain as she finished drilling in the roughest/most aggressive way. Before she left the room she told me I might need a root canal but we will just leave it for now. This was 6 days ago & im still in pain. I will not be going back.

Dr. Hammerlee had assured me he treated children with disabilities and anxiety all the time, but very quickly became frustrated with my then 5-year old Autistic child because he was nervous and did not want to open his mouth. My son leaned forward toward me as Dr. Hammerlee insisted he was misbehaving, and the dentist shoved him forcefully back into the seat and shouted at him. I then intervened and firmly reminded him that my son has a disability and was scared. The dentist then turned away and raised his voice to me as well, telling me he could not treat my son. We found another dentist and have never had a problem since. Patience and not forcefully shoving a child down into the chair go a long way in building rapport with any person, but especially a little one you were already aware had significant anxiety and Autism. I can't recommend this provider to anyone under any circumstances.

Outstanding staff, office and dental services!!

Hammerlee is a great place for receiving dentistry services. I've been going to Hammerlee for years and have always been happy after each appointment. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the setting is comfortable and clean.

Horrible staff absolutely the most rude and inconsiderate staff I have ever seen anywhere hands down! Receptionist or whomever she was that I approached at the widow looked at my insurance card and immediately snubbed her nose! And very bothered by the fact I was not 100% covered and had a deductible. She stated “ you have terrible insurance “ so loud I’m sure everyone outside of the office heard her ! Then proceeded to tell me the amounts of my copay etc with an extremely disgusted voice.

I had a HORRENDOUS experience here!!! Horrendous is an understatement. Avoid going to Dr. Hammerlee at all costs! He books numerous patients at the same time and has his ASSISTANTS fill cavities. The wait time is ridiculous. He also burned the inside of my cheek not once but TWICE! He is very impatient and gets very angry when you ask questions (he gets defensive and thinks you don't trust him). If you want a DENTIST filling your teeth and not just an assistant, STAY AWAY from here.

Great staff amazing Dr everyone is polite and respectful. Dr and staff explained every step letting me know what know the procress. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with clean environment. I'm terrified of dentist personally and my first couple of appointments I was relaxed and knew I was in good hands.
