He kept telling me over and and over to stop eating sweets. After I told him I don't eat sweets. Very strange appointment. His price for my bridge was 2 times the amount of the last dentist and he was going to send me to an oral surgeon for some of the procedure. It was insanely overpriced.

Dr. McIntosh is a rarity- he's HONEST & experienced. I had put off having a crown installed on a cracked tooth for two years. He did an outstanding job on my crown, made sure it fit perfectly. One tooth "looked" like the old filling could be replaced, he said words rarely heard- "don't fix it if it isn't broken." If you are looking for an experienced dentist who isn't looking to break your bank with an inflated dental laundry list, he's the ONE! A wonderful & warm humored person. A pro!

The office staff is great. Very flexible and will work with you on appointments. He is very friendly and has many years of experience. He will not finish until he has your procedure perfect. I am very happy with the work performed. It is NOT a dental group, but it is a private practice. Those are hard to find these days.

Dr McIntosh is an old fashioned dentist who does fantastic dentistry. Hes fair and honest and he will make you laugh. His staff makes you feel comfortable which is important to me with any Dr. visit. If you need dentures he is the ONY dentist to see in Port Charlotte.
