This is a theme for this man. He told me I had 13 cavities. I refused to have him fill these, and got a second opinion from another dentist. Guess what? I had no cavities.

I have to say I agree with Whitey. I took my sons to see the Dr. in 2001 for a check up. He said my 7 year old needed 21 cavities filled and my 4 year old needed 18! I was humiliated and felt like a terrible mother. I took them to another Dr. for a second opinion and sure enough, their teeth were fine. 20 years later and neither boy has had a cavity. I just ran across the photos of the teeth that I kept and wondered if this Dr. was still in business.

I saw this dentist in 1994 when I was 14. It was my first visit to the dentist as I came from a poor family. He decided to take advantage of my family and stated that he needed to fill ALL of my molars for cavities! Luckily my parents didn’t have the money to do them all (from memory the copay was 100 bucks a tooth) and we stopped at 2. The following year my orthodontist told me that my teeth were fine and I didn’t need fillings. And EVERY dentist since has said that my teeth are healthy... I’m effing 40 years old now and I’m still FURIOUS! And I have poisonous metal in my mouth because of this charlatan! ALWAYS get a second opinion!
