Dr. Curtis then completed a challenging three-year residency in dermatology at one of the most prestigious dermatology programs in the country, the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas. While in residency, she completed research on using photodynamic therapy combined with topical chemotherapy for the treatment of actinic keratosis and sun damage. At UTSW, she trained with many of the world's most renowned dermatologists considered to be pioneers in their respective fields.
