He has presented his research at national conferences and has published book chapters and scientific articles in journals including The American Journal of Sports Medicine.Dr. Gallagher utilizes cutting edge techniques including patient-specific-instrumentation for ankle arthroplasty, which uses a CT scan and a personalized plan to ensure a more reliable and efficient replacement. Additionally, he performs a minimally invasive approach to multiple conditions including Achilles injuries, bunion correction and hindfoot reconstruction.Dr. Gallagher's priority is to find strategies that keep his patients on their feet. He believes that one of the most important determinants of health is the ability to stay active.
