Dr. Gallagher is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in trauma, reconstruction, joint replacement and sports injuries around the foot and ankle. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and attended Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine in Philadelphia for his medical education. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland during which time he also spent time at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Novak received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. He remained in Washington, DC, at Georgetown University Medical Center to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. Dr. Novak worked intensively with some of the best sports and arthroscopic surgeons in the country during his fellowship training and today is able to perform advanced arthroscopic techniques for a number of orthopaedic problems. His special interests include sports medicine and sports injuries, complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization for loose or dislocating shoulder, ACL and ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage restoration of the knee, and adult joint reconstruction.

Dr. David Macias specializes in foot and ankle surgery. When an injury ended his high school freshman soccer season, his orthopedic surgeon took great care of him. Besides being a great physician, the surgeon was a great person and inspired Dr. Macias to pursue a career in medicine. That experience, coupled with his undergraduate studies in biological engineering, made orthopedic surgery a perfect fit.
