I love working in pediatrics and find it both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I particularly love the fresh outlook children have on life and forming relationships with my patients and their families. I enjoy working with children from birth through the early college years and have a particular interest in working with new moms on breastfeeding support and with adolescents. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, cheering on the MN Twins and Duke Blue Devils, traveling, reading and spending time outside.

I enjoy working in pediatrics as it gives me an opportunity to make a difference that can last a lifetime for a child. I marvel at their enthusiasm and enjoyment of life. I am a strong advocate for immunizations as these are crucial for preventing disease in children, a goal I've devoted my life to. I particularly enjoy working with patients with pulmonary issues, especially asthma. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling, eating at new places, cooking and enjoying the lakes with my dog.

I am honored to have the privilege of caring for children. I am a strong believer in preventive health care and my goal is to work with families in an open dialogue and partnership to advocate for the best health of their children. I love being a resource to my patients and families through all stages of development and I love watching children thrive as they grow. I enjoy being available to my patients and now in addition to face to face visits which I love, I also am available for video and phone visits for certain conditions to provide convenience to my families. Outside of my practice I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, cat and dog. I love being outdoors, spending time reading and traveling when I have the chance.
