As a pediatrician, I love working with children of all ages, from infancy through adolescence. I believe that parents know and love their children best, and I want to use my professional expertise to support them in that role. In addition to pediatrics, I also have an interest in tropical medicine and I have received additional training and certification in this area. I have had the opportunity to study, volunteer, and provide medical care in various communities throughout Latin America.

I am a pediatrician who enjoys working with children of all ages and their families to help them better understand their health. I especially enjoy teaching my patients how to be advocates for their own well-being as they enter young adulthood. I also have special interest in helping families navigate parenthood for the first time.

I strive to treat each child as my own and am open to answering any questions to help my patients feel more comfortable talking to their doctor. I love all aspects of pediatric care, from ear infections, colds and routine care to more complex issues such as developmental delays, food allergies, obesity and asthma. Near and dear to my heart are health care homes (coordinating all care for your child), something at which our Eagan Clinic excels. After living in the Chicago area for ten years, I brought my husband and two young children back to Minnesota, where I studied as an undergrad at the University of Minnesota. When not caring for patients, I enjoy reading mysteries, allergy-friendly baking, baseball (Twins and Cubs) and spending time with friends and family.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, I enjoy caring for children of all ages for both preventative health and illness visits. It is very rewarding to watch them grow and to help families navigate through different life stages. I live in Lakeville with my husband and two sons. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling and being outdoors.
