J. Gregory Mears, M.D. is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. After receiving a B.S. at Trinity College, Dr. Mears obtained an M.D. at The College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. He undertook his Internal Medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center and his Hematology-Medical Oncology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center.Dr. Mears' early career was research based and involved studies of the molecular genetics of disorders of hemoglobin as well as chronic myelogenous leukemia. For the past 25 years Dr. Mears has maintained a clinical practice caring for people with blood disorders with an emphasis on leukemia, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and multiple myeloma. Dr. Mears has a strong clinical interest in women with breast cancer and is the Medical Director of the OctoberWoman Foundation.Additionally, Dr. Mears is pursuing clinical research in the fields of Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma as well as breast cancer. She then got her Doctor of Medicine and Masters of Public Health at St. George's University, Grenada. She then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Her interests lie in global women's health and health care disparities. She hopes to continue to contribute to women's health by conducting quality improvement research in hope to shed light on barriers that contribute to racial disparities in healthcare.

Tracy Bohn Hemmerdinger, MD, is the medical director of obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley and division chief of obstetrics and gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. She is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center. In her role, Dr. Hemmerdinger will continue to expand NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital's obstetrics and gynecology division through provider recruitment and community outreach. In January 2021, the hospital opened its newly renovated Maternal & Newborn Care Unit, designed to provide an outstanding experience before, during and after childbirth and expand access to the hospital's team of leading specialists and expert care. Dr. Hemmerdinger is a board-certified OB-GYN and has been a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2008. She also served as a member of the NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst Blood Utilization Committee. An accomplished academic researcher, Dr. Hemmerdinger has published in peer-reviewed journals, most recently on the topic of universal screening for SARS-CoV-2 infection among pregnant women. The recipient of multiple awards and honors, Dr. Hemmerdinger has been awarded the NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst's Elmmy Award, honoring exceptional service and care to patients. Passionate about training physicians, she also received the 2014-2015 Medical Student Teaching Award for outstanding teacher of obstetrics and gynecology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as selected by the medical students. After graduating from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Hemmerdinger served her residency At Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has served as a resident mentor from 2010-2020, before becoming a resident family mentor from 2020-2021.

Dr. Charles graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in chemistry from the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. She later graduated from Drexel University School of Medicine in 2001. She went on to train at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC where she acted a Chief Resident. In July 2005 Dr. Charles joined the Army and served as active duty military physician at Ft Riley, KS. In 2007 she was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning from Afghanistan in 2008 she was appointed Chief of the OB/GYN department at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Ft Riley, KS.Dr Charles is board certified in general Obstetrics and Gynecology. She manages normal as well as high risk obstetrics complicated by hypertension, gestational diabetes, twin pregnancies. She is interested in VBAC, water births (first delivery at Hudson Valley Hospital was a water birth). She also works in conjuction with doulas. She offers a wide range of services in gynecology including minimally invasive laparascopic surgery, family planning and contraception, adolescent health counseling, menopausal management, urinary incontinence and infertility. She provides outpatient office procedures such as Essure vaginal sterilization, endometrial ablation, hysteroscopy.
