Dr. Saulle has participated in competitive sports for over twenty years and uses his personal experiences with injury to provide a unique comprehensive perspective on recovery and rehabilitation. Dr. Saulle hails from Yonkers New York and enjoys a variety of sports, music, cooking and backpacking.

Dr. Samantha Erosa is an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She is dual board-certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She specializes in interventional approaches to treat pain related to the spine and musculoskeletal conditions.Dr. Erosa earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia and Cornell, where she served as Chief Resident. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of California, San Diego where she acquired the skills to diagnose and treat a variety of pain conditions utilizing minimally invasive spine techniques, neuromodulation, and regenerative medicine procedures using fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guidance.Dr. Erosa's path to medicine began with a strong interest in the musculoskeletal system- fostered by her long history of competitive sports at both the collegiate and international levels. She understands the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to any neuromusculoskeletal or spine-related problem including physical therapy, occupational therapy, exercise, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and targeted interventional procedures. Her fellowship training affords her the expertise to provide non-operative spine care, minimally-invasive pain management, and regenerative options to treat a variety of pain conditions.Above all, she believes in the importance of communication with patients: ensuring they understand where their symptoms are coming from and the spectrum of treatment options available to address their specific needs and goals.Dr. Erosa was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She enjoys camping, visiting the national parks, and open fire cooking.

Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Straight did his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston, majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience. After college, he joined the Teach For America corps in Dallas, TX, teaching high school math and leadership for three years before moving on to medical school. As an avid athlete himself, he took the time while teaching to coach girls volleyball, boys basketball, and football. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital, then stayed with Mount Sinai to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine. With his limited time outside of work, he enjoys running in Central Park, cheering on New England sports teams, and traveling abroad.

My practice focus is on Interventional Physiatry which entails all nonoperative treatment of spine related pain. I recently joined Mount Sinai in 2013 after serving over 15 years as an attending physician and partner at the Spine Institute of Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Our general philosophy is to individualize care to each patient using a comprehensive, multidiscplinary team approach.

Dr. Christolias has continued a practice of life-long learning, beyond his years as a student and a trainee. His passion for medical education has led him to educate medical students, residents and physicians. He utilizes his multidisciplinary knowledge, along with state of the art equipment and cutting edge techniques to deliver expert care in his patients' path to recovery.
