I received my BA degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California and completed an Associate in Nursing degree prior to completing the Physician Assistant program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. I am a Certified Physician Assistant with over twelve years of GI experience. I am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. I have extensive experience caring for patients with chronic liver disease.

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. I earned my B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and my MD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I also completed my Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. My clinical interests include Celiac Disease, general Gastroenterology and Colon Cancer Prevention.

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University for undergraduate studies majoring in Exercise Science with a pre-professional concentration. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as an EMT-Basic. After App State, I attended High Point University for my masters in physician assistant studies. I have been practicing as a PA since late 2021. I enjoy hiking and visiting national parks with my husband during my free time.

I joined Digestive Health Specialists in February 2018. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed my Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest School of Medicine. I am a certified physician assistant with experience in hematology and oncology with a focus on GI cancers. I am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. I enjoy traveling internationally with my husband, and have been living in Winston-Salem for most of my life.
