After earning his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School. He then trained as a Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a clinical cardiologist with advanced training in echocardiography (transthoracic and transesophageal) and nuclear cardiology/stress testing. Dr. Cohen has a particular passion for and expertise in the area of cholesterol management and preventive cardiology and is the Director of the Preventive Cardiology and Dyslipidemia Program.
