She earned her Medical Degree at Peking University Health Science Center in China and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Science at UT Southwestern. Following that, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine system in New York, followed by Cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Li is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. She is bilingual and speaks Mandarin.Dr Li's clinical interests include complex arrhythmia ablation of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardias, and ventricular arrhythmias, as well as a broad spectrum of device implantation including pacemaker, defibrillators and left atrial appendage closure device. In addition, Dr. Li is very passionate about research of cardiac diseases, particularly clinical outcomes of cardiac arrhythmias. She has conducted clinical studies in atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, and pacing-induced cardiomyopathy that yielded seminal publications in well recognized journals such as JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology, Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, etc. Outside of Medicine, she enjoys hiking, traveling and visiting museums.
