A native of Dallas, Dr. Jay Staub has been in practice since 1983, delivering personalized health care for women in Dallas. Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and received his medical degree in 1979. He completed his residency training at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.A Clinical Professor in the department of Ob/Gyn at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Staub is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. His practice specializes in a wide spectrum of women's care general OB/GYN, infertility, routine and high-risk prenatal care, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures such as Hysteroscopy, Laparoscopy, and Laparoscopic hysterectomy, as well as the evaluation and management menopause. Dr. Romberg grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, CA. She earned her bachelor's degree withsumma cum laude honors from the University of California at San Diego. She attended bothgraduate and medical school at UT Southwestern, where she earned both her master's degree ingenetics and her medical degree. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics andgynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in June 2005. Shortly thereafter, shejoined the excellent physicians at Women's Health Alliance.Dr. Romberg has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2007. She earnednumerous awards throughout her education including the DFW OB/GYN society award foroutstanding medical student and the W.K. Strother award for excellence in clinical and academicachievement during residency. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics andGynecology and belongs to the AMA, TMA, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Romberg cares for women through all stages of life, from the teenage years throughchildbearing and midlife into menopause, including hormone therapy. She is skilled atperforming minimally-invasive laparoscopy with the DaVinci robotic platform, such ashysterectomy, cystectomy, endometriosis resection, and salpingectomies for sterilization.
