Selam Whitfield, MD is an OB/GYN surgeon. She joined Matlock OB/GYN in 2021 and provides general obstetric and gynecological services for women of all ages. Dr. Whitfield enjoys providing comprehensive care for women throughout some of the most challenging, vulnerable, and empowering stages of life. She is passionate about improving health literacy in her patients in order to facilitate shared decision making. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2002, and he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 2006. Dr. Kremer serves as program director for the HCA Medical City Arlington Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program. He has a strong interest in gynecology, creating individualized patient-centered care plans for complex gynecology patients. Dr. Kremer is experienced with in-office gynecologic procedures and performs minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery. Prior to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma in May 2016 where she graduated with honors. Dr. Gadson has actively contributed to research initiatives throughout her academic and professional journey. Notably, she conducted research on Cutaneous Endometriosis at the University of Texas at Houston, Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Her work focused on a retrospective cohort study aimed at documenting the presentation, diagnosis, and management of cutaneous endometriosis. Additionally, Dr. Gadson participated in research at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems in Fort Worth, Texas, from January 2019 to January 2020. Under the guidance of Dr. Wagner, she investigated the intersection of Health Literacy and Maternal Mortality by conducting interviews with new mothers. Her efforts culminated in the development of a Health Literacy curriculum tailored for health professionals, which was adopted by the Association of Teachers of Maternal and Child Health.
