He did his residency at Idaho State University in Pocatello. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Advanced Wilderness Life Support. He and his wife have 2 children.
