Prior to medical school, he earned a bachelor of arts in government studies from Harvard University and completed post-baccalaureate studies at Bryn Mawr College and University of Houston. Dr. Ryan is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and provides skilled surgical care that includes general, colorectal, and vascular surgeries. Renick Smith, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dr. Smith is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology/hepatology.
