Cecelia H. Boardman, MD, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with Virginia Gynecologic Oncology, part of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. Dr. Boardman completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship at Magee-Women's Hospital with University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency and internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Magee-Women's Hospital at University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Boardman earned her medical doctorate from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and graduated cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.Dr. Boardman is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Boardman was honored with The Dianne Harris Wright Professorship for Obstetrics and Gynecology Research at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She has been active in clinical research at the Massey Cancer Center. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, she has presented her research on a national level, and she has published several books and chapters. She has also served on the Cervix and Vulvar Committee for the Gynecologic Oncology Group/NRG.Dr. Boardman specializes in gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive and robotic surgery for gynecologic malignancies. She has a special interest in the early detection of ovarian cancer, biological therapies for gynecologic cancer, management of advanced and recurrent cervical and endometrial cancer, and hospice and palliative medicine. Linda Brown, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with Virginia Complete Care for Women in Chester, Virginia. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and Speech Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1990. She later earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1994. She entered the Army as a Medical Corps Officer, and after completion of her internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, she served on staff at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas. After leaving the Army in 2002, she entered private practice in Florida and moved to Virginia in 2004. Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She is an active staff member of Chippenham Hospital. Dr. Brown provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecologic care to women of all ages, including the care of adolescents. Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are in college.
