Technical Skill was there, but Dr. Baker is rude
I went into North Pacific Endodontics for a root canal and the job was done, but I was rebuked for asking questions. Dr. Baker told me the nerve was dead in the infected tooth that was causing me trouble. Not being a dentist, I questioned how there could be pain with a dead nerve. Very little explanation was offered causing me to question him again. He openly disapproved of these questions and told me he had answered me already. Body language, facial expression and sighing as he prepared my tooth displayed his dissatisfaction. Insecurity? Sees questions as a direct challenge to him? Not sure, but a very inhospitable environment for questions. I will not go back to him.
