Oak Street Health Montgomery

If I could give this facility a zero-star rating, I would. My experience here has been highly disappointing. As a diabetic, I was eagerly anticipating my appointment today, as I have been without my medications for several months due to my recent move from Las Vegas to Montgomery. The process of reestablishing my healthcare has taken longer than expected, and with my A1C rising to 8.6, I was relieved to have the opportunity to receive my much-needed medications finally.However, to my surprise, I discovered that Oak Street Health had canceled my appointment this morning. When I inquired about the reason, I was informed that it was due to my failure to confirm the appointment the day before. This practice warrants immediate review, and I strongly urge an audit of the facility’s policies and procedures. There are numerous reasons why a patient may be unavailable to confirm their appointment, but that does not mean they intend to miss it.
