Irvine Smile Design

I found this dentist for my son who is in college in the area. We live out of state. Things had been fine for the past 2 1/2 years. Service was fine. Then my company's insurance changed. I called to speak to the office about this as we were going to have to change dentists. They assured us there would be no difference in cost and that my son could continue to go there. That was until they said he needed 3 cavities redone last month. We were hit with a bill of $1,480 to fix 3 fillings. Insane. Spoke to the front office manager Nina who did nothing to rectify the situation. I would never have had my son do the work there if I had known. A complete bait and switch as they assured me the cost to keep going there would be no different in cost if we were still in network. They cost me over a $1,000 that we didn't need to spend if we had gone to an in network provider. Not honest at all and they are completely unwilling to fix the situation with a refund of the difference.
