Deceptive representations about cost of procedures
This practice lied to me about whether an OPTIONAL procedure would be covered by my insuarance; mischaracterized the nature of the procedure and then sent me many months later an exorbitant bill for $1439. When I contacted them, they immediately cut the bill in half to $771 try to make me pay it. They have now referred this to a debt collector. I came to the office for a different procedure and they tried to UPSELL an unrelated optional procedure and Phyllis the insurance manager mislead me about the cost, first saying it was $400 and then upon further review saying it was completely covered by my dental insurance.
