Dr. Todd Atkinson and the entire staff at SWFL Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine are beyond amazing. My family doctor highly recommended him to me. A wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. He performed a total shoulder replacement on my right shoulder four months ago and at 65, I now feel like I have the shoulder of a twenty-year-old. I have a full range of motion again. He performed the surgery and his physical therapy team have been working with me each week. They combine expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss any issues and progress with me. I immediately felt at ease and confident in my receiving expert medical care. Both of my shoulders had osteoarthritis, (cartilage lining the shoulder joint worn out), so I will be using Dr Atkinson for my left shoulder. Long story short - I was experiencing knee pain and discomfort for about a year and decided to get a diagnosis from a local orthopedic doctor. I made an appointment, came in and had an x-ray. MRI was next to confirm a severe lack of cartilage, then consultations with Dr. Atkinson and one of the PAs on the team. They discussed all of my options with me, including non-surgical solutions, which I decided would be temporary. Opted for surgery. I had total confidence in Dr. Atkinson's competence and experience and he didn't let me down. Surgery went well. PT followed and now 3 months later I am doing great.I can't say enough about Dr. Atkinson and the entire staff in the office. They were all there for me from the beginning of the process and beyond, including follow up appointments.I highly recommend his office. I was treated with understanding and respect at all times by everyone there.

We were unable to see the doctor because of his horrible Office Manager, but, unfortunately for him, you are liable for the actions of those who you employ.
