After moving to S. FL and having horrible issues with finding mental healthcare for my young son who was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy and ADHD, we came upon Psych4U. We’ve had an ok experience for over a year. Recently my husband was in the ER and needed emergency surgery. we were not able to make my son’s weekly appointment. When I called to cancel, they informed me that I would be charged an add’l $100 after my $40 copay for cancelling less than 24 hrs from appt time. This was upsetting due to the emergency and NEVER having inconvenienced them after over a year of wkly appts. Then, my son needed a letter from his therapist for an epilepsy summer camp. She informed me that it would be a $100 for the letter. I am shocked! I believe this is absurd! Mind you, I sit in the lobby on a wkly basis listening to alllll the trash talk about employees & patients & have been privy to the extremely unprofessional office manager rip into people. This company is money focused, not on pt.

my therapist is kind, caring and easy to talk to her receptionist is awesome as well and I have a good rapport with bothSADLY, I almost left them because of rude, critical and frankly nasty reception staff as well as the Manager of the same department.I am staying because I enjoy my Sessions with my current provider but don't know if i would recommend Psych4U to others
