Experience with Dr. Dy was one of the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. I came to Dr. Dy with concerns of hair loss, an area she claims to specialize in. Upon our first appointment Dr. Dy didn't even look at my scalp and immediately suggested an expensive and invasive scalp biopsy. When my results came back Dr. Dy informed me I may have lupus and then promptly walked out of the room to take a phone call. It was the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life. I was incredibly concerned and clearly distraught and she just walked out of the room for at least 5 minutes. When she returned all she told me was to get blood work done and answered absolutely zero questions about what a diagnosis of lupus would mean for my life. Cut to- I got blood work done and do not have lupus, I saw another hair loss specialist who was completely flabbergasted I was recommend a scalp biopsy. When I called to get my biopsy slides sent to my new doctor, Dr. Dy's office never sent.
