These guys and gals know what they're talking about. Previous doctors encouraged surgery for both my wife and I. We weren't confident that was the answer, so we looked for a second opinion and man, are we glad we did! Bluegrass Orthopaedics staff took a look and showed us that we weren't "bone on bone" and there are other options than surgery. "Surgery is a last resort" with this outfit, which is as it should be. We're already seeing a huge improvement in our quality of life and are looking for more as the treatment continues. A special shout out to Physician Assistant Becky Sullivan and her team for their compassion and professionalism. Some medical professionals just come in, give you a shot and hand you a piece of paper, which is not always the answer. There's more to medicine than just "Wham! Bam! Thank you ma'am!" -- us common folk need good counsel and education as well as the medical treatment; this is something Becky and her team understand.
