Leaving
I was a patient for less than 1 year. The practice is rarely open when I call. I always get an answering service. The office staff has been inefficient on multiple occasions. My latest experience was when I called to retrieve my records for my new PCP. This was a waste of time. I was told it would cost me $55.00 and to call Emerson Hospital to obtain my Dr.'s office records. I called Emerson Hospital. The staff at Emerson hospital are VERY helpful. They told me about their web portal. I was able to retrieve my hospital records for free. Emerson Hospital told me they have no reference for Dr. Mikael's office. They told me Dr. Mikael is affiliated with Alpha Medical Associates. This is one of the many reasons I am leaving this practice.
