BEST CARDIAC NURSES YOU WILL EVER MEET!!!!!!My father was diagnosed with lung cancer, and refused to travel outside of the U.P. for surgery/care. Based on the fact that overall, Marquette General Hospital does not have the best reviews, I had some trepidation about going through them. Because this is the only cardiac unit servicing the entire Upper Peninsula, my father gave us no other choice.I cannot speak for the rest of the hospital, but Cardiac and the ICU on the 4th floor was nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY. These staff members worked 12 or more hours per day with little to no breaks and still maintained a sense of humor and a smile on their face. From the registration desk, to the nurses, the care aides, the dieticians, the janitors, and the management, you will not find a more hardworking, compassionate, devoted team.
