Disappointing experience

Changed GP due to insurance(not in my control) Got appointment for August for Physical as new patient and waited several months so I could get bloodwork and medications because some meds have expired. Got a call from Internal Medicine at Angling road today to reschedule appointment with new GP and next one is now in Oct! I asked if prescriptions could be renewed and asked about bloodwork and was told one of my controlled meds cannot be approved and I should go to Urgent Care for that even though my appointment that was cancelled for August wasn't in my control but done by this office. Next I was told no lab work prior to appointment so now I have to go to Urgent Care for my medication?! When I was asked if I would be open to seeing another Practitioner if an earlier appointment is available and I said yes, the lady on the phone says I shouldn't be changing doctors just to get my meds! I never requested a change in doctors! So disappointed with Ascension Borgess's practices...
