WINGHAVEN PEDIATRICS

We went to Winghaven Pediatrics for 2 years. I’ve had to use the after hours exchange 5 times. The first time went smoothly. The second time, my child bumped her head and a large (2”x1.5”) bump appeared within a few minutes. The doctor who called acted like I’d disturbed her and called for no reason. The third time, the exchange gave the doctor a wrong call-back number, so it took about an hour to get in touch with them instead of a max of 30 minutes.The fourth time, my child had what looked like thrush and it was a Saturday. She said to bring her in on Monday since she’d have to examine her. She told me there was no way to send her a picture of my child’s mouth. I didn’t want my child to suffer for 2 days due to their lack of technology, so I used a tele-health visit and got the needed prescription for thrush. And the final time, the exchange disconnected when I tried calling. Ended up going to ER and paying $300 for a stomach flu diagnosis (non-emergency).
